xLadipo said the government was complicit in the insecurity besetting Igangan, Ibarapa and Nigeria in general. Besides, he also described the invasion on Sunday Adeyemo, popularly called Sunday Igboho’s house as an act of terrorism and brigandage, maintaining that DSS must apologise to Igboho for invading his privacy. Ladipo also urged supporters of the Yoruba freedom-fighter, who are still being detained by the secret police to go to court for the enforcement of their fundamental rights. He said: “This government is exhibiting the traits of Abacha Government. This is how Abacha started.”On the three members of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) arrested in connection with the attack on Iskilu Wakili, he urged them to seek redress for being illegally detained and unlawfully incarcerated.
